Susan Williams has over thirty years’ experience in civil business litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal courts. She has been lead attorney on a number of successful California, Arizona, and federal appeals and writ proceedings. In Emerson Electric Co v. Superior Court (1997) 16 Cal.4th 1101, she persuaded the California Supreme Court to broaden the scope of questioning permitted at videotaped depositions. Contributing editor for Chapter 6H, Title Insurance, of the 2012 edition the Rutter Group’s “California Practice Guide: Insurance Litigation.” She is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been with the firm since its inception.
