Robert Pistone received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2022, during which he interned for a California Appellate Court Judge, provided legal assistance to start-up companies based in San Francisco, graduated Summa Cum Laude as Salutatorian among his peers, participated in student government, received 10 CALI awards and 2 Witkin awards for academic excellence, was made a member of both the Thurston Society and Hastings Honor Society, and was a Senior Editor on the Hastings Environmental Law Journal. In addition, a paper he authored concerning the impacts of climate change on the American prison system and its interplay with constitutional issues was published in the 2022 Spring edition of the Hastings Environmental Law Journal. Prior to joining Hennelly and Grossfeld LLP, he was a litigation associate at Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP, a top-rated patent litigation firm.
